Victorian State School's Spectacular

Hamlyn Banks Primary School regularly participates in the Victorian State Schools Spectacular massed dance ensemble.  The spectacular is a massive performing arts event that showcases the enormous talent of students across Victoria in government schools.

The Spectacular is one of the largest recurring performances in Australia and is now an annual event. It is a professionally staged production or concert performed at the Hisense Arena at Melbourne Park to an audience of over 10,000 people.

Students do not need to have a background in dancing to be a part of the show.  In fact one of the aims of the Spectacular is for schools to encourage children, boys and girls, who are simply committed, enthusiastic, willing to work hard to have a go.
