Teaching and Learning Cycle
We are committed to ensuring the learning growth of every individual child and the deliver of a high quality, personalised and engaging educational experience for each and every child. As a staff team we have developed and refined the HBPS Teaching and Learning Cycle below. This is the process we use for each and every Unit of Work that is delivered in our classrooms.
The Teaching and Learning Cycle addresses the following questions in a systematic way - ensuring that we are being intentional and that the learning experiences your child is engaged with have been planned with them in mind!
Our driving questions that we must be accountable to are:
- What do we want children to learn?
- How do we know children have learned it?
- What do we do when children don’t learn?
- What do we do if children already know it?
