Ballgames Day
On Friday 26th October the six local schools that make up the Geelong Western Sports Association gathered at Hamlyn Banks Primary for their 23rd annual Ball Games Competition day. Hundreds of students from Years 3-6 competed in eight separate ball game events. Students competed in age based teams to gain points for their home school in an attempt to win the champion trophy. In perfect weather conditions, students from all schools enjoyed the events as well as catching up with friends from other neighbourhood schools. Thanks to all the teachers and parents who helped run the events. Congratulations to Chilwell Primary who narrowly won the trophy for 2009.
